We love seeing children at our practice and we look forward to seeing kids’ faces light up with smiles. We do our very best to help our children patients feel happy and positive about their visits. We see kids of all ages – from infants and toddlers to young children, tweens, and teens. The Singapore Dental Association recommends that parents bring children to the dentist for their first visit soon after the first baby tooth comes in.

Healthy smiles for every child

We work hard to make each dental visit fun and child orientated. We want their experience to be positive so they enjoy looking after their smiles for life.

When shall I make my appointment

Children should see a dentist as soon as their first teeth erupt after the age of one. It is best to make a morning appointment for your child as children are generally more cooperative in the morning.

What happens on the first visit

We make use of the best, most up-to-the-minute dental technologies available to put your child’s safety and comfort above all.

What happens on your baby’s first visit?

We do an assessment if the teeth are developing properly and look out for signs of hidden decay. We may need to polish your child's teeth if they have an overgrowth of bacteria on their teeth. Remember to make the first appointment sound positive and don't use dental visits as punishments. Try not to let your child listen to scary stories at the dentists. Do not bribe your child into going for his first visit. Make your child understand that having his teeth and gums checked is good for him or her. Bribes may appear to children as ways of making them do something that may hurt or disadvantage them.
